Overview
Learn the foundations in accounting with this program that was designed by a CPA for real-world use in accounting and income tax preparation. The Accounting Office Specialist program teaches you the basics of computerized accounting functions and income tax preparation. This six month program was designed to students to acquire the skills to handle:
- Business math and applied accounting
- Bookkeeping
- Data entry and spreadsheet
- Income tax preparation
Graduates will be qualified for entry-level employment in positions such as tax preparer, bookkeeper, accounting clerk, accounts payable and receivable clerks and more.
