Health Center Assistant Manager: In this position you would typically assist a Clinical Manager in all business processes to ensure efficient operation of a clinic or clinical department. Duties may include assisting patients with testing, screening and education. You might also assist with administering financial processes, supervising clinic staff, managing clinic operations during Clinic Manager’s absence, ordering of medical supplies and equipment, assuring adherence to policies involving patient confidentiality, charting, billing, and more.
Medical Office Manager: In this role you would oversee the day-to-day front office operations of a medical practice or doctor’s office. You would be responsible for management of medical records, scheduling, reception, and staff supervision. A medical office manager may also be responsible for managing budgets and analyzing financial statements.
Medical Billing Manager: As a Medical Billing Manager you would be responsible for daily operations of the billing office for a medical practice or doctor’s office. You might also supervise the office staff. You would manage patient payments and accounts, insurance billing and processing of payments, and must have knowledge of the appeals and denials process.
Assistant to Director at Home Care Agency: As the assistant to a Home Care Agency Director, you would typically be responsible for billing, bookkeeping, data entry, assisting in staffing, reception, and human resources. You might also assist with marketing and outreach activities, including the coordination and scheduling of these efforts.
Health Record Technician: As a technician of health records you would work primarily on maintaining, auditing, processing and updating health records according to established clinic or hospital procedures. A Health Record Technician typically inputs into a computer system any relevant data abstracted from various medical records or related sources for use in patient admissions, discharge, and transfer.
