Program Overview
ICDC College's Dental Laboratory Technician Diploma program trains students to improve the cosmetic appearance of dental patients that can improve their self-esteem. Students are provided in-depth instruction on how to construct dental appliance prescriptions, such as crowns, bridges, implants, denture replacements, ceramics and orthodontics under the direct supervision of a Dentist. Dental Laboratory Technicians are also known as Dental Lab Ceramists and Denture Model Makers.
This program also covers oral anatomy, dental terminology and restorative techniques. Dental Laboratory Technicians also test appliances to ensure accuracy and conformance to patient's individualized specifications.
At the completion of this program, Dental Laboratory Technician graduates may pursue a variety of employment opportunities in business settings such as:
